We are currently looking for a Chartered Quantity Surveyor or Estimator to join our team of construction professionals, working on cutting edge research contracts and continuing to develop and deliver benchmarks, indices, reports and construction cost tools for the industry.

BCIS is the UK’s market leading provider of cost and price information to the construction industry. The BCIS offices are located off Parliament Square, London. 

Working as an important member of a team of Quantity Surveyors, you will have relevant experience as a professional quantity surveyor or estimator undertaking the full range of quantity surveying duties.

You will need to have experience in IT, excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as the ability to work autonomously to set deadlines.  You are likely to become involved in modelling and costing hypothetical scenarios and predicting the impact of future industry developments.

An interest in early cost advice, cost planning, cost analyses, life cycle costing, trend data, industry developments and forecasting would be an advantage.
