Following on from the morning session on Whole Life Cycle Costing, this seminar will look at the cost of maintaining a building and the financial management of facilities management work.
This seminar will cover the following areas:

Speakers
Mike Shone, Head of Facilities Management, Gleeds
Before joining Gleeds in 2007, Mike was director of FM Consulting at Drivers Jonas from 2001 – 2006, where he was involved in many major FM outsourcing and PFI projects. Prior to this, Mike was senior business development and commercial manager with Johnson Controls IFM.
He has also had senior positions where he has assisted many organisations review and re-engineer their FM and support services. He has extensive commercial knowledge and market place intelligence of FM, combined with practical experience of how it can be delivered.
Mike Packham, Partner, Bernard Williams Associates and RICS Facilities Management Faculty Board member
Mike is a chartered surveyor with over 25 years experience in the construction industry. During this period he has worked on a wide variety of projects ranging from landscaping, through new build and refurbishment to civil/heavy engineering works.
Having trained initially as a quantity surveyor he subsequently obtained a Masters degree in Property Development / Project Management. He is currently Partner-in-Charge of BWA’s facilities management consultancy activities and as such is uniquely qualified to advise clients at every stage of the building life cycle; this is reflected by the wide variety of projects with which he has been involved.
