Abstracts

An abstract is a way for you to collect together a set of rates and descriptions as you browse the datasets and download it for use elsewhere at the end of your session.

BulbAn Abstract can contain up to 25 Items complete with their full description and headings. Rates can be chosen from any dataset so you can 'mix and match' the items for your abstract.

Creating an Abstract

An abstract can't contain more than 25 Rates.

Abstract Warning

If you add more items, older ones are removed. If you want to abstract more than 25 items you must create more abstracts.

Loading...To create an Abstract, go to the Abstracts tab. Type a name for your new abstract in the box and click 'New Abstract'. Any items you select are now added to the new abstract.

You can create as many abstracts as you need but you must download them at the end of your session if you wish to keep them. They are not saved after you log off.

Abstract Tab

The new abstracts tab has the ability to add quantities against the items and total up the result. This is useful for building up small lists of work items for any purpose including building up more complex approximate estimating rates to use in your own estimates.
