BCIS has been shortlisted in three categories at the British Insurance Technology Awards 2026, recognising its work to support insurance professionals with rebuild cost data and property risk assessment.
The nominations recognise BCIS in the Best Data & Analytics Solution Provider, Best Insurtech Partner and Insurance Technology Launch of the Year categories.
The nominations in part reflect the launch of BCIS Rebuild Plus, a platform designed to help surveyors and insurance professional validate property rebuild costs and assess reinstatement risk throughout the insurance life cycle.
BCIS Rebuild Plus uses information such as a property address or unique property reference number to generate an initial rebuild cost estimate. It does this by automating the configuration of the rich BCIS data and combining proprietary and open source data.
Responding to the awards recognition, Cos Kamasho, principal consultant at BCIS, said: ‘BCIS has supported the insurance market with trusted rebuild cost insights for more than four decades and continues to reshape how reinstatement risk is managed. To be recognised with not one, but three British Insurance Technology Awards shortlistings, demonstrates how integral our suite of rebuild cost tools has become to the market.
‘This recognition reflects not only years of dedication to developing and refining our cost models, but also our commitment to evolving the way we support insurance professionals in an increasingly technology-driven industry. We’ve made it easier than ever to generate reliable, initial rebuild cost estimates, helping surveyors, insurers and brokers make faster, more informed decisions to improve client and commercial outcomes.’
The latest nominations follow BCIS being shortlisted for Insurance Partner of the Year – Technology at the British Insurance Awards 2026.
